About this event

Lunch provided.

Community engagement is a collaborative approach that involves all partners equitably in the research process to ensure focus on a research topic of importance to the community. It is increasingly being adopted to improve research quality and impact, and to build capacity for uptake of evidence-based practices. However, many researchers are unsure of how to get started with community-engaged research. Participants will hear from a panel of speakers about the importance of pre-engagement planning in the research question design, different types of engagement, and best practices for working with community partners.
